Hi, my name is Grace. (I also go by GVGK.) I'm a public historian with a background in digital humanities, archival theory, and museum studies. My research focuses on transnational queer historiographies within a broader discussion of sexuality, stigma, community, and identity.
I believe in decolonizing our methods for exploring the past. Through grassroots projects by, for, and about marginalized communities, we can upend traditional diversity and inclusion frameworks, and reclaim history as a medium of both spiritual and political meaning-making.
